Clean, comfortable and great location.

Liked: Hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to Little Italy with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The Gaslamp Quarter is about a 10/15 minute walk away and the Bayfront is less than 5 minutes. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a nice view of the bay. Staff were very friendly and the free coffee in the lobby was a welcome addition. There's also a small shop if you need to buy water etc.For the price and location, it's hard to look past this hotel. I'll stay again the next time I'm in San Diego.
Disliked: A restaurant or sit down area for breakfast. I didn't avail of the grab and go breakfast so can't comment on their quality.Asking for housekeeping every morning - would have preferred if this was done without having to ask.Bathroom could do with a freshen up.

Disliked: It seems that many hotels in the USA, including this one, do not provide daily room service. Not convinced that is a good development

Disliked: quality for money is very poor, I could of booked a room looking into Sydney harbour for the price of this standard roomlooking onto a construction site

Liked: Big, proper rooms with great view on the bay (upper floors). Very well equipped. Very fast internet connection. Coffee machine in the lobby with free coffee and tea 24/7
Disliked: No real breakfast, only breakfast bags.

Almost perfect… but not quite

Disliked: Apart from the shower being very low so I had to crouch down to wash my head and upper body! Consteuction accross the road woke us up at 7am from Monday onwards. Good alarm if nothing else!
