Best Western Plus Barclay Hotel

Disappointed

Liked: Clean and comfortable
Disliked: When making the booking it was stated that the pool would be open during our stay. However, on checking in at the hotel we were told that the pool will not open until 1 May. The main reason for choosing this hotel was for the pool.On the day of check in the electricity to the hotel was down. It did not come back on until the evening. This was not the hotel’s fault. However, no discount to our stay was offered eventhough our stay in the hotel was impacted (eg. no lighting, no use of the hot tub, no use of TV, no use of elevators, etc).

A wonderful, relaxing place to...

Liked: The breakfast from the restaurant downstairs was super affordable and delicious. The facility was lovely, and the staff were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and had everything we needed for the time we were there.
Disliked: We don't really have anything negative to say about our stay here. Everything was lovely. There was even free hot chocolate and coffee downstairs.
