Great overnight stop near M1

Liked: Really good breakfast cooked to order and great location close to motorway junction but far enough away to not to hear traffic noise. Would definitely use again as a stop off during a long journey.
Disliked: Room was huge and while clean was quite tired. A second armchair would have been useful for such a spacious double room, and some more pictures on the huge empty walls would make it feel much nicer. Overall very minor negatives though.

Beautiful place.

Liked: Stayed for a family wedding. Was absolutely beautiful throughout. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The entire hotel and it's grounds were clean and kept impeccably.
Disliked: This isn't much of a criticism however the bar did run out of Vodka way before the night was due to end.

Liked: The receptionist was kind.
Disliked: The room was very dusty - the bathroom seals around the sink were all broken. Only one window opened. One lamp didn't have a lightbulb in it. For the quality of the hotel, I would expect a coffee machine - just a kettle, with the lead only just making it to the table- health and safety risk? I thought the food and alcohol was overpriced for the quality.

A delightful experience. We will...

Liked: Beautiful setting and grounds. We booked a standard twin room and was pleasantly surprised! The beds were large and comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space, a large tv, tea and coffee making facility, a lovely bathroom with shower over bath and two small armchairs. It was much bigger than expected and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and approachable.
Disliked: The shower head was fixed and could not be detached .
