Scam of a hotel

Liked: Good location for what I needed
Disliked: The room was not overly clean, the floor was filthy and needed a good clean/hoover. The staff were appalling, the fire alarm went off (due to steam from the shower or deodorant I’m not sure why really, it went off about about 20 seconds), 2 males came to my door and gave me a ‘warning’ in case I was smoking or vaping (I was not as I do not smoke or vape) and they claimed they could not tell if I had been smoking or vaping but if I was please make sure I’m doing it outside, upon leaving I noticed a letter hidden under a tissue box stating I was being charged £150 for smoking/vaping in my room, when I questioned this in reception, the lady told me the 2 males had said they had entered my room and witnessed me vaping (they did not enter my room or witness me vaping as I do not vape - I was on a video meet with my girlfriend at the time who can prove this). This is now apparently under investigation and is a stress I do not need.

Liked: Hotel was lovely and staff we met were really good.
Disliked: The bins in our room wasn’t emptied and were used tena still in there. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows over stuffed. I would stay there again if the rooms were cleaned better.
