We had a lovely stay,...

Liked: Location was great, rooms very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast offering.
Disliked: We understand the property is old and takes a lot of upkeep but it does feel that it needs some updating in the older sections. Information from reception at check in was either very good or minimal depending on who was on the desk. Early morning road sweeping of the square provided our alarm call around 06.30am!!

Liked: Bedroom and food
Disliked: I was there to run a conference - the hotel conference facilities were totally inadequate - the projector was useless, and the screen was too small for the size of audience, insufficient number of flip chart stands provided at the start. Needed a lot of work to sort it out so we could run our event.

Great place to stay

Liked: I liked the location and the room.
Disliked: It would have been good to know in advance that I had to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach my room. It would have affected how I packed my bags.

Liked: Helpful & friendly staff. Clean & well appointed.
Disliked: Parking difficulty finding. Parked in parking bays near hotel and went in to ask for directions
