Best Western Plus Airport Inn & Suites

It could have been outstanding...

Liked: parking, location and the kitchenette in our room for a 3 day stay was good.
Disliked: not the property but the customer service at the front desk (Tammy)was derogatory. She couldn't find our reservation at first, not a single apology was mentioned when she figured out where our reservation was.I followed up a question to ensure that we are booked from Friday until Sunday for 6 people and she said yes. She made us wait for 30 mins because the room was not ready yet, i jokingly asked if we can leave later on our check out but she replied, what we pay for is not per hour but per day. On our 2nd day, after our long day activity in saskatoon, as we head back to our room feeling so tired, our card keys are not functional. My husband went to have the cards activated/changed and not a single apology. She even asked again, how many days are we checked in. ( can't she not verify on her screen?!).... then, we noticed that somebody came into our room and took out our garbages and used towels and replaced it with 4 towels. ( the night before , i already asked for 2 extra towels because there's 6 of us) even if I already informed the cleaner that we do not need our room to be cleaned yet. later on, my daughter asked for 2 extra towels but she was told by Tammy again that we need to replace the 2 towels with our used ones and it was then that I bursted my disappointment to the guy who brought the extra towels to our room. I will not be asking for extra if we have enough in the room. The other amenities like the pool and the breakfast were great. However, as a facility who provides customer service, every area is an integral part in order to be considered an outstanding place to be in. Tammy needs to be aware that her actions depict what kind of business your property is showcasing regardless if the other areas of your property is great. Tammy is a bad apple in your workforce. Liked: The room was very clean and well cared for. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: The dinning room was small for the huge crowd that stayed in the hotel. There was a queue every morning to get food.

Liked: Good, great shuttle - pick up in 5 mins
Disliked: Price - ridiculously expensive and for a mid-week stay.

Excellent stay close to airport

Liked: Clean and very comfortable yummy cage opened for dinner which was so convenient and staff were amazing and so polite
