Liked: Staff were excellent, so helpful every time I enquired about anything. Breakfast was outstanding, something for everyone, really relaxed atmosphere, lovely coffee/tea machines, couldn't be better. Room was fine, as expected it was a little shabby/ dated but clean and very comfortable, there was a certain amount of noise from other guests. Wi-Fi was perfect. I connected on 3 devices and never had an issue streaming or doing web calls. I used the Sauna, I agree with other guests, it's not clear that it needs to be booked and ideally ahead of time because it's very popular, but it was a lovely experience and 2 hours for around 8GBP was good value. I also borrowed a bike which was such a lovely treat, and it was a great city bike with a lock. I'm sure it's not always available but definitely ask.
Disliked: Hotel location is as to be expected, it's a city centre location so lots of loud noises, engines etc and always people around. As a single female traveller I didn't think the lobby area and seating outside of the hotel always felt very welcoming, often loud groups of men hanging around in both areas who didn't appear to be guests, but nobody bothered me.

Liked: Friendly and helpfull staff, but understaffed at breakfast when it was a fullbooked weekend. Central location, close to everything. Gym well equipped.
Disliked: The rooms are big, but the bathrooms are very small. Cold in the room even if the radiator was on.
