Liked: great breakfast, friendly staff
Disliked: i reserved the room weeks in advance, and reserved a downstairs room and it was confirmed. When I arrived to check in, I was told there were no downstairs rooms available. Not what I expected.

It was just OK

Liked: The location was very convenient. In the middle of both valleys: Sonoma and Napa and close to the highways.Close also to supermarkets and other stores.
Disliked: The fact that we did not know that we had to ask to clean the room or not on a daily basis.

Great place to stay if...

Liked: Great location in Petaluma, making it very easy to get to the racetrack. And right next to the freeway too.
Disliked: I realize the weather was cold, so the pool has been closed for the season, but a heated pool or a hot tub would have been nice.

The staff was extremely nice...

Liked: Even though it was an old building it was clean
Disliked: The carpet was filthy and needs to be cleaned.

Great price and gave us...

Liked: The breakfast was an assortment of hot and cold offerings. I loved the make your own waffle with fresh strawberries,bananas and whip cream each day. The service was excellent and if something was gone the service person replaced it. Considering the price of eating breakfast out for five days this was a great budget saver as the breakfast was free with hotel price.Room service was your call. Do you want it everyday? Just towels? I like the options of saving water.Early checkin was FREE.
Disliked: The location was great for us as our grandkids lived in area. But the hotel is close to highway which is a plus but quick turn into hotel and some issues trying to get out. But will not be reluctant to stay at hotel again.
