Very good

Had a lovely time and...

Liked: Breakfast was fabulous. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Sea view was great from the bars and lounges.They only clean rooms every three days, but will changes towels if requested. Would have been nice if they had popped in to replace Tea, coffee etc and emptied the bins daily.
Disliked: The reception area, not very welcoming. Needs updating. The outside of the hotel is very dated and needs, painting and new signs.

Liked: The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpfulParking was free
Disliked: It was very tired, run down and badly in need of refurbishment. The room was little more than a cupboard with virtually no space to walk around and minimal space for luggage! There was one chair in a twin room and that had to be used to put luggage on as there was no floor space. The curtains were hanging off the tracks and we struggled to close them…. And there were no modesty blinds.The plumbing was antiquated and regulating the water temperature of the shower was quite difficult.

Disliked: The shower curtain. Flimsy.

Pleasant place / good facilities

Liked: The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. Great leisure club facilities. The place is in need of some TLC, tired carpets, looks a little like something from the land that time forgot! But perhaps that’s the attraction. Hotel bar really nice, good vibe. Bingo hall downstairs, good fun. All in all a pleasant stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Disliked: Just felt a bit tired in places.

Liked: Hotel is quiet. They offered luggage service on check out day. I loved the health spa service and the swimming.I believe i had some complementary bottles of wine in the room,for my birthday only i am almost teetotal. But all the same i am honouredd
Disliked: The double bed turned out to be 2 single beds joined in the middle. The gap was noticeable and was a bit of a discomfort. Having a mattress topper could fix that.
