Not satisfied with one room...

Disliked: Good afternoon, I stayed this last weekend at the best Western Pacific in Vernon. I normally reserve through the Best western as a member however there was no availability for rooms with my group so I went through booking.com and I reserved two suites. When I arrived, they could not find my second reservation. I then waited and a suite was found. The following day I asked my daughter how she found the room and she said that as her baby was having a hard time sleeping they decided to sleep on the sofa bed however when they opened it up they changed their mind. The sofa was not made up at all and had hair and crumbs on the mattress. Instead of going to sleep they waited long enough that they could sneak back into the room where their baby was sleeping. However everyone got a rough sleep as they had to be in the same room which was not what her baby was used to. The purpose of a suite was so that they could sleep in a different room from their baby. They day of check out I went in her room to help her pack up and she showed me in the bathroom of a leak that had mold around it. She showed me the stains on the couch cushions. I went to get a dish from the cupboard and it was dirty and they had not used any dishes. The following are pictures from her suite. I was totally shocked at this room and it felt grungy. I prefer best western hotels and that's where we book all our stays however this was very unfortunate for my daughter who was pregnant and her family

Disliked: my room faced the busy side street - but got used to the noise.

Disliked: I was under the understanding that a staff member would check the room and that the damage deposit would be refunded when we checked out. Yes we left early but the room was not checked and the staff member was busy running the audit. I will be watching my Visa for the credit.

Nice hotel and close to...

Liked: Good location for us. Room was spacious and had fridge, sink, microwave which was nice. Room and facilities clean.
Disliked: Our key didn’t work when we returned to our place on the second night. No one was at the front desk for 20 minutes from 10:55 pm until 11:15 pm so we were a little panicked that we would not be able to get into our room for the night. Fortunately, the night attendant showed up at 11:15 (late for his shift) and the previous shift had left already. Not a great situation. Let the morning staff know when we checked out and she was very sorry and said that this would be addressed.

Disliked: Just a little reminder for housekeepers to check the bottom of the toilet was a little gross had pee and hair.
