Great for a short stopover

Liked: Good location. Cheap and simple but absolutely fine for a short stopover. Stayed in a simple single room. Bathroom was great. Staff friendly. Simple check in and check out. Great value.
Disliked: Was as I expected for the very reasonable price.

Great staff Melvin and Susan...

Liked: During my recent stay at the Best Western New Kent Hotel in Newcastle, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service provided by the staff.Upon my late-night arrival, I was greeted by Melvin, who displayed an exceptionally courteous attitude. He went out of his way to assist me with the parking, ensuring that I had a hassle-free experience. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made the late check-in process smooth and welcoming.Additionally, my interactions with Suzan at the reception desk were exemplary. Her attentiveness and care were evident as she efficiently handled all my queries. On a particularly rainy day, Suzan kindly provided me with an umbrella, a gesture that proved to be incredibly useful. This thoughtful act allowed me to enjoy a pleasant walk in the charming Jesmond area without being deterred by the weather.The hotel room itself was immaculate, with a clean and airy ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The fresh atmosphere was complemented by a well-maintained bathroom, which was stocked with soft, high-quality towels, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay.Overall, the hospitality exhibited by Melvin and Suzan significantly enhanced my experience at the Best Western New Kent Hotel. Their dedication to excellent service is truly commendable, and I look forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.

good quiet location for a...

Liked: good size twin room with comfortable beds. Whilst the doors slam loudly it was overall pleasantly quiet. managed to get a parking space - the last one. warm shower. lovely cafes nearby
Disliked: we found a sock and lighter under one of the beds

Liked: Bed was clean and location
Disliked: Carpets were stained in several area and looked like they needed a good clean.1 window was so filthy you could hardly see through it.4 draft beers on the bar and only cider available the other 3 beers had run out terrible hotel won't be back.
