Liked: Nicely situated clean and tidy
Disliked: Staff on duty are 1st morning of breakfast did not explain we had to help are selfs to cereal &Juice took cooked breakfast and within minutes meal was out

Liked: Lovely view sat on the veranda.
Disliked: Our room was very warm and a little dark

Location location

Liked: Location with terrace and dining room facing The Solent. Ideal for watching the passing shipping and yachts. Friendly staff. Good value food. Comfortable
Disliked: Tables in the dining room were not set out for dinner. Cutlery was placed out inside a napkin. This made it feel more like a pub environment than a restaurant. Wine menu was not offered just a small card on each table which was not very noticeable.

Liked: The location was perfect as I wanted to watch the sailing from Cowes. It also had provision for those with less mobility (like me), handrails, sloped entrance if you couldn't use the steps etc
Disliked: It's in poor shape and a bit shabby. I was charged an extra 50 pence to put milk in an expresso coffee. Housekeeping didn't seem to understand that when I drop a towel on the floor, I want it replaced, not refolded and put back on the rack. that was gross
