Not terrible, but not great

Liked: The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable. A/C worked well and the window treatments provided nice natural lighting options while maintaining privacy. The staff I interacted with was fairly nice.
Disliked: The Internet didn't work because the SSL certificate had been expired for over a month. The refrigerator made a constant rhythmic sound that was audible even over moderate noise and I ended up having to unplug it to sleep. I hung up my towels each day to reuse them as the signage suggested to save water, but they replaced them every day anyway (not a huge deal, but why bother putting the signage up?) There were sticky spots on the carpet and I think it had been a while since it was deeply cleaned. The fit and finish of the room was just of fairly low quality and whoever did the construction or maintenance had no attention to detail. Everything was mounted crooked, and the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom had the arms mounted so far apart that any but the most cautious usage caused the roll to fall off. Honestly, nothing was terrible, but there were lots of little unpleasantnesses that added up to a mediocre experience. If the room had cost $70/night, I probably would just say "you get what you pay for" but for $100+/night, I expect a little better than I got. I probably wouldn't stay there again.
