Best Western Naples Plaza Hotel, Naples

After looking for a hotel room for after attending the Matthew West concert, most of the surrounding hotels were priced extremely high; when we found the Best Western, that was priced much better. We thought it wouldn't be a pleasant experience - wrong, it was great, including the free breakfast the next morning.

Liked: Extremely clean and fair priced.
Disliked: None. Very satisfied.

Disliked: The back up generator did not work so the hotel did not have electricity . All guest had to check out due to that.We would like to ask for one day refund.

Corporate Should Do Better!

Liked: Breakfast 1st morning was wonderful, 2nd morning nothing served.Hotel had no power!!
Disliked: Upon checking in, we were 1st informed that the Hotel's Emergency Generator was not operational.I asked if someone was working on it to make emergency repairs since there was a Hurricane Coming.No response???With an impending Hurricane, I find it surprising, even irresponsible that the Generators weren't operational.No one was working to make any repairs.I inspected the the generator myself and noticed it had a rather poor exterior condition, probably indicative of its age??We selected this hotel to evacuate from an impending Hurricane with the expectation we would be safe & comfortable.We stayed on the 4th Floor.... to leave the hotel we had to make many trips up and down the stairs with our belongings.I noticed many elderly guest having to negotiate the poorly lit stairwells and hallways, this could have been a disaster if one of them fell while trying to traverse the stairs.Emergency generators would have insured that the Elevators were at least operational and Hallways properly illuminated.I think Corporate knew these generators were not operational and should be accountable!!
