Do yourself a favor and...

Liked: The location is right in the center and easy to get to
Disliked: We booked a Queen Room for 2 people and 2 nights and paid in advance via Booking one month before our stay.When we arrived the unfriendly person at the reception gave us the room keys. When we got there we noticed it was much smaller and with 2 single beds in the back of the hotel with only no ventilation other than a window that could only be partially opened. I went back to the reception to ask for the proper room and he said that our booking was for a single bedroom for 1 person.We showed the Booking.com's confirmation and he said he couldn't do anything about it. He also said they couldn't refund me or change the booking either.As there was a festival in the city, every hotel within kilometers were already booked. And we had dinner reservations, so we accepted our fate and went out for dinner.When we got back to the room and had proper time to inspect it, not only it was tiny, it was also smelly and very dirty, there were spider webs in the walls, and spiders hanging around. No ventilation and also poor lighting. There were only bedside lamps. The hotel halls were also smelly and everything was dated. We checked out and had no alternative other than drive back.

Please stay, we enjoyed it...

Liked: We liked the complimentary coffee, ice water and lollies always in the lobby. Places was freshly painted. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: Bed was to hard, sauna wasn't on when we went up (feel better instructions could be given around the use of it) receptionist is very helpful but his English could be improved, or our nz accents could!! :)

Liked: Nice bed and it was clean.
Disliked: Clean the drainage hole in the bathroom. The water took a long time to clear.

Great stay in heart of...

Liked: A nice hotel at the centre of Motala and great views. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of varieties. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Disliked: The shower was a little dirty and the conditioner provided could be better.
