Overall a pleasant stay. Staff...

Liked: Spacious room size. Large bathroom.
Disliked: Beds could have been more comfortable. Bathrooms and breakfast room looked a bit tired and in need of a revamp.Cooked breakfast could have been served more quickly, particularly on the Sunday when those of us wanting just cooked food sat waiting 20 min, and this delayed our departure. Food was nice when it arrived.

Comfortable and spacious

Liked: The cottage room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was especially spacious with both a bath and shower.
Disliked: Hot water was not working on the last night and morning of our 4 night stay, meaning we had to have an ice cold shower. A fridge would have been a very nice addition to our room for longer stays.

Enjoyable stay over!

Liked: It was our original intention to get a Taxi to and from the Hotel. However the room rate virtually matched cost of of the Taxi, so we decided to stay. The room was billed as a 'Small Double, Standard room" . We were expecting a tiny gloomy little box, but were really surprised when we opened the door to a really clean, well lit comfortable area with a large enough bathroom and great bed.

Great location to access Mikton...

Liked: Lovely traditional building, great location and spacious family room.
Disliked: Room was advertised as having a double sofa bed as well as a double bed, but was only provided with a single put me up bed. However the manager did rectify and offered us a free second room so that all of our party could be accommodated. Food was lovely and staff very attentive, however, the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Lovely little village with a good pub.
