Best Western Mason Inn

Location was nice but room...

Liked: Location is nice, friendly staff, breakfast is good.
Disliked: Last visit, we stayed on the bottom floor and it was excellent. This visit we stayed upstairs and our room was not clean. There was hair in the sink and the shower when we first arrived. The shower had dirty footprints inside it. The floors were gross. The beds were hard as a rock. I’ve never left a bad review on this app but I was disappointed because our last stay at the same exact place was totally different in another room area months prior.

I won't be staying at...

Liked: Good location -close to many shops and restaurants. Staff was respectful enough at check in.
Disliked: The thing I was most unhappy with was the bathroom - it was terribly old and outdated looking. The shower rod and the toilet paper rod were loose - paint was chipping, and the tub was stained and dirty looking. The bed was just okay for comfort -not as good as other hotels on my trip.

Liked: Early check in was great. Breakfast was good
Disliked: The pool had too much chemicals in it. It chemical burned my eyes.

Pleasant

Liked: Close to everything and was at a good spot. Hotel was very clean and staff was good.
Disliked: The chlorine in the pool area was super strong it was burning my eyeballs especially when the jets were on in the hot tub. So maybe the door propped open would be good. The room we started in 231 the air didnt work. Made my fiance and I sick to our stomach in the middle of the night so we asked to switch rooms at 1 in the morning because it was so hot and after trying to fix it. They were able to accommodate us with another room which was really great considering we were miserable in our room and was afraid there was no rooms left for us to move to.
