Overall great, just cautious if...

Liked: Location. Ease to top terrace restaurant. Laundry service. Elevator to all floors. Helpful cleaning staff. Coffee in room. Great view of zocalo.
Disliked: 1.Bathtub is very tall, so unsafe to get in and out. They need grab bars at bathtub and near toilet. 2. Also better labeling of hot and cold knobs. 3. By reception desk there is 5 marble stairs, must put a railing. It felt unsafe walking up.

Great hotel to stay at

Liked: The hotel is in a great spot. It’s walking distance to anything and everything you need; pharmacy, places to eat or even if you just want to walk around the zocalo at night. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. We had another family stay at another hotel thinking it was right at the zocalo and it wasn’t. I chose this hotel thinking it was close by and we ended up being right across the zocalo. Great hotel to stay! I will definitely stay here every time I come to Mexico City.
Disliked: The mattress was a little hard.

I will remember this hotel...

Liked: Top floor restaurant and staff were exceptional…. It’s an old hotel with a lot of charm…. No ac no problem for the climate of this city….. had a great view ….. do not hesitate to book this hotel !!!!
Disliked: The teacher strike was a problem but that is out of the control of the hotel
