Liked: Remote , quite amazing place , highly recommend, we stayed for 1 night en route to Cornwall as we thought a stop half way was great with dog , very surprised how great this place was , breakfast was top quality had everything from full English to pick food , toast bread yogurts juice tea , all the coffee you want , staff was great very friendly , honest I know a lot people read reviews first, Very comfatable beds
Disliked: I loved everything, if im picky I'd say out dated decor but that just didn't matter one bit

Liked: The Food was delicious.The staff were friendly and helpful. The Gardens are beautifully maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I needed to change the date and Booking.com emailed to say the hotel had refused my request when they hadn't been asked.The Receptionist changed the date quite easily.

Disliked: Seeing ‘lads’ out the front of the hotel with their tops off and pints in hand didn’t make the best first impression. I half expected to see England flags on the wall.

Liked: Friendly welcoming staff. Stunning, far reaching views. Total peace and silence of the surroundings- made us realise how rarely we experience this. Wonderfully comfortable and well appointed room. Really good food. Looking forward to staying at the Lord Haldon again soonHighly recommended.

Liked: Staff polite and very helpful. Very good value for money. Room clean and well decorated. Bed very comfortable. Stunning views and great gardens.
Disliked: Breakfast could have been warmer and more variety.

Disliked: Shabby tables in the dining room, no tablecloths and sachets of sauce and mayonnaise on the tables, giving the restaurant a very downmarket feel.Could be nice if someone with an eye for decor improved the dining and communal areas.
