We enjoyed our stay in...

Liked: This old fashioned but charming city centre hotel was ideal for an overnight or short stay. The room was a good size and very quiet. The day we stayed there was the hottest of the year so far so we were particularly grateful for the fan that was provided in the room. There were excellent choices for breakfast and the serving staff were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: Ahead of our visit we requested a room on the second floor and got a confirmation that we would be allocated one but when we checked in we found that we actually given a room on the second floor. The staff on reception said that our request had been overlooked. This was a bit disappointing.

Disliked: Not within the Hotels control but directly across the street from the hotel there is a large pub which is very noisy until very late at night.
