Great several night break only...

Liked: Well proportioned clean room.Cheerful helpful staff.Generally good food - dinners & breakfasts with adequate choices.Lovely quiet location that felt very safe.
Disliked: Housekeeping was a bit hit & miss but was rectified as soon as staff were notified.Lack of fresh fruit at Breakfast.One of us suffered mild food poisoning having pointed out that the meal was dubious, we both had made the same choices, one meal was excellent, the other was not! A different replacement dish was offered (& refused) as original was out of stock & small refund was given.

Easter Break very nice hotel...

Liked: Staff very nice and helpful made us very welcome
Disliked: Poor heating in the room tv was a problem very hard to get different channels wash sink did not hold the water kept running away

A pleasant stay would go...

Liked: We were pleasantly surprised due to some negative reviews, and yes the hotel is old and has seen some marks here and there, but the character of the house is beautiful and quiet, clean and helpful staffGreat views
Disliked: It was a lovely stay, could do with sorting the coffee machine in bar as it was not working very well
