We enjoyed our stay, but...

Liked: Position of the hotel and it being a walkable distance from the town and the Wiltshire Music Centre. The breakfast was ok and we enjoyed sitting in the sunny dining room with amazing views of the countryside. The room was cosy and comfortable.
Disliked: Maintenance could have been improved. The front door had a cracked pane of glass, our shower room door was squeaky and the tap made a loud whistle when used. The shower only ran too hot or cold. Being over the function room we had a sloping ceiling on both sides of the bed which was a bit of a hazard and on the Sunday evening we could hear people talking loudly downstairs.

Ok for a one night...

Liked: Nice building and free parking. Hotel grounds were very pleasant
Disliked: Rooms were dated and in need of some TLC. Bed was small and uncomfortable. Room was hot and there was no control of heating in bathroom

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough to help

Liked: Rooms were confortable, Hotel was a nice old building, breakfast was nice and food in general was good.
Disliked: Cleaner in bedroom needs to look up. A few cobwebs about in the bedroom and noticed a few throughout the hotel.
