Best Western Lansdowne Hotel

We love the Lansdowne but...

Liked: Polite and engaging staff
Disliked: Room was far too hot. Could only open the windows a fraction

Liked: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I stayed here with my daughter and we were absolutely delighted! We had a room with a sea view – it was truly breathtaking. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t take breakfast, as we preferred to enjoy our own pace – and honestly, the view alone was enough to recharge our energy. A perfect place to relax. We’d love to come back!

Liked: I really liked the architecture and the retro-style interior. The decoration is beautiful, everything is nicely renovated, clean, and well maintained.
Disliked: The only thing I missed was more fresh sea air — it would be nice if the windows could open a bit wider.

Liked: Great seafront view. Good size single room. It had a bath! which was a godsend after a long day's hiking across the Downs. Second best to the Grand, but virtually next door and half the price. Staff were great. Wonderful communal lounges with views out onto the Boulevard.

Disliked: No air conditioning except a plug in fan. No usb charging point.

Liked: Great location although could be quite noisy on the front late at night. The staff were fantastic and hotel very clean.
Disliked: The beds are two beds pushed together meaning if you like to sleep need to each other somebody ends up down the crack. Although tea and coffee are provided it would have been nice to have bottled water available. No air con meaning you need to keep the windows open yet the front can be quite noisy late into the evening so unable to get to sleep at a reasonable time.
