Liked: Excellent Location, good breakfast, friendly staff, plenty of room if weather bad, which it wasn’t!
Disliked: No lift, and 3 flights of stairs to room.

Best Western Lairgate - Needs...

Disliked: Upon arrival we found that if you have a car bigger than a family hatchback then it was very difficult to park given the small parking bays and turning round areas of the car park. The outside of the rear of the hotel could do wish freshening up - inside was a bit old fashioned and dated, as was the room that we were allocated. Curtains could have been done with being fitted correctly, the overhang from them meant that light cam in at either end - might also suggest a black out blind to reduce the light entering the room (Room number 25). Also bedding on the mattress didn't appear to fit correctly. Wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in but not sure if I'd stay here again.

Great location but hotel needs...

Liked: Location is very good, right in the centre of Beverley, Staff are excellent, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The TV in the room was very good quality.
Disliked: As my wife is disabled, we requested an accessible room or a room on the ground floor. We were allocated a ground floor room but it was a long way from reception, through several sets of doors, up a couple of steps, which made it quite difficult for my wife. The room itself was very dated, The furniture was dated with damaged surfaces. In the bathroom the shower was up a couple of steps and over the bath, with no hand rails which prevented my wife from using it. The bed had very littlr room at either side making it difficult to get in or out.
