Good
Liked: Great location, and away from direct traffic, but still close enough city to centre. Kettle in room, tea & coffee help yourself , tv, ironing board is also there for use . Great friendly staff
Disliked: A bit dated and maybe a bit tlc all in all comfortable and clean.

Lovely stay
Liked: Excellent staff. Lovely breakfast. Made use of the small gym room.
Disliked: Rooms got pretty warm from around 7am onwards so had to make use of the portable fans that had been left in the well equipped room.

Very good
Liked: Location. Good quality room. Big bathroom. Decent breakfast. Very friendly as staff.
Disliked: Many weeds at front of the building gives a poor view of the hotel. I was told that the maintenance man was on holidays.

As above
Liked: Comfortable but nothing to write home about
Disliked: Breakfast expensive not included in price. You need to ask for everything even milk for your tea. Only 2 butter cubes on table as norm . Everything the strict minimum do not like asking for basics like cereal. No rolls or croissants or anything to choose from so difficult to know what is available. Very poor

Another short comfortable stay in...
Liked: All very good as on previous visits. The hotel is on a regular bus route to the railway station which saves me bringing the car.
Disliked: N/A

Traditional hotel on the outskirts...
Liked: Lovely Victorian building. Large, spacious rooms.
Disliked: Room was unbearably hot (desk fan was little help). A little too far out of town if you’ve been on your feet all day.
