passable rooms with good staff...

Liked: everything really was fine with the exception of nowhere to store luggage -no drawers only one high level shelf in the room

Liked: When i left got home and showered. They tried to put me in the lodge. I opened the door and immediately went back to reception as it was an absolute disgrace, unclean and something out of a horror movie. They moved me to the main block, however not much better.
Disliked: Dated hotel, no way its an AA 4 star. Should be condemned. Dont waste your money.

Exceptional

Convenient and Pleasant

Liked: We stayed for 11 nights and were given a Queen room in the newer part of the hotel which was unbearable with the heat 🥵 The lovely receptionist from Romania (can't remember her name) then moved us to a King room in the older part of the hotel and it was much cooler and it served us well for the remainder of our stay - thank you!
Disliked: The lack of aircon and lack of maintenance on the grounds. This used to be a very well-kept location with a lovely garden area, but it now looks very sad and forgotten and not a good backdrop when sitting in the restaurant.
