Exceptional

Very good

Liked: Good room comfortable bed.
Disliked: Place was a bit tired inside . Improvement was happening with the building on the outside.

Disliked: When going in it was confusing to where to go into due to two guys working on the entrance..workers doing the construction were awful about styrofoam and other stuff flying all over the parking lot they didn’t seem to care..Property smelled very old

Liked: Location
Disliked: Stinky, moldy, poor lightning, dark parking lot, understaffed. We tried three different rooms, and we couldn't stay. I took my family to another much better hotel at 1 am. I stayed for only one night at this place. In my opinion, this place should not be opened for business until it is fully renovated.

Disappointing

Liked: The workers were very nice.
Disliked: There was renovation going on when we pulled up. That wasn't mentioned. The first room we had stunk like dog crap. He told us there's always problems with that room and moved us to the room below that. The second room stunk but not as bad. At this point we was tired and so we used febreeze to cover the smell up. We kept having problems with the toilet flushing. We did Not clog it. But both days we had to get maintenance. We kept having to get our room keys fixed. They wouldn't open our door or the door coming in from the side.

Disliked: The exterior of the building was under construction. Plastic covered windows and stryrofoam blowing through the HVAC unit in the room. We thought that either BW or Booking.com should have informed us regarding the situation.

Liked: It was a convenient location and a good price. The continental breakfast was amazing.
Disliked: The property was under construction during our stay. The elevator was working but had a bad smell in it. The rooms were clean but the hallways were not.

Disliked: I chose this hotel because it had a pool, and served breakfast. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom is in need of repair(shower doesnt turn off rm 217). We asked about the pool daily for 3 days-"closed". I had to take my family to the Florence Aquatic Center($12) to swim. Then as we came back to the hotel through the lobby entrance the male desk clerk(about 6:15p 5-29-25) stopped us and accused us of swimming in the hotel pool!! I quickly let him know that because the hotel pool had been closed for all three days of our stay that we had to pay ($12) to use the city pool(Florence Aquatic Center). That accusation was the last straw. I can't wait to get on my TripAdviser account and state only the facts about our stay at this Best Western. Don Steele
