Would I go back Yes...

Liked: Overall a good rating very neat and tidy and a great breakfast.
Disliked: A small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. The entry door to the room that kept slamming if you let it go to quickly.

Liked: Location was excellent, clean hotel, breakfast was great
Disliked: When checking in a 150 euro deposit was taken, which wasn't advised in advance, then we were asked to pay for the room. On querying why was told hotel policy. We asked to pay in cash and was told yes, but then when handed a 200 euro, we were couldn't accept and we must pay by credit. Obviously upset with this decision after much discussion the manager (on leaving his friends at the bar) agreed we could have dinner then pay by cash. He didn't believe that this was the first time in France we had been asked to put an advance payment, and pay for the room the night before. We tried to explain that normally a credit card is taken in case of non payment or to charge items to the room not when paying for everything in advance or at time of having. They must have unruly guests if a depositif this amount is needed, as they kept saying 'in case of dispute'Menu in restaurant very limited, would be better to have more choice.

Extremely clean, friendly staff, good...

Liked: Extremely clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Private parking that closes during the night.
Disliked: No restaurant at the hotel during the weekend - not a big problem but sometimes you don't feel like moving after a long drive and having dinner at the hotel is appreciated.

Despite shortcomings we will be...

Liked: It was close to motorway and had parking facilities Breakfast was superb but evening meal bit disappointing. We had lasagne with salad. Salad lovely and fresh but lasagne not hot and very dry. Staff excellent and very helpful
Disliked: Small bathroom with very small pillows on the bed. This was supposed to be Queen room for which we paid extra but not worth the extra money.

No gym, poor breakfast, quite...
