Liked: The hotel impressed us with its cleanliness, excellent location, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere — a truly enjoyable stay!

Clean with good facilities

Liked: Clean with good facilities, water and hot drinks
Disliked: Location a bit far out of the centre but good tram and bus connections to Zurich centre

Good location but spoiled by...

Liked: Location was good as we were going to a football match and it was just a couple of tram stops away. The tram service is excellent into the city centre. The area is nice with food shops and several small restaurants.
Disliked: There was no aircon and this made the bedroom very uncomfortable. It was a hot day and the room was on the top floor with a velux window which would not stay open. A fan was provided but it was not sufficient. It’s not really good enough.

Disappointing

Liked: The odd member of staff that were actually at the property were helpful.
Disliked: No staff to ask for help or assistance on arrival. No fan on AC in the room, curtains do not fully cover the window, rooms are very small, the hotel is opposite a church that has bells ringing for the majority of the day, not great and would not recommend.

Disliked: Small room, no good airflow, only fan and no air conditioner, very hot , especially in hot Summer months

Don’t stay in the summer...

Liked: The staff were great. That’s about it
Disliked: We didn’t realize that there was no ac at the property. This wouldn’t normally be a problem but it was incredibly hot outside and inside the tiny, expensive room. Additionally, there was construction happening outside our window. We were breathing in tar fumes and being woken up by power tools the whole night since we had to keep the windows open to keep it cool inside. We also had to use the check in machine outside the hotel to check in. This required me to put in my credit card information on a large publicly viewable screen with no privacy for my information I was entering.

Price good for Zurich

Liked: Good location. Public parking at the corner. Breakfast was good. View on the square.
Disliked: Could not open the window. Tram did not stop in front of the hotel due to construction....not hotel's fault.
