Liked: The room size was spot on
Disliked: The smell in the rooms? Possibly once a smoking bedroom? And not enough water for a family of 4 just 1 tiny bottle of water for all 4 of us

Excellent hotel, which saved us...

Liked: Superb amenities, excellent rooms and great location near the station in Rouen, France (literally over the road!)We checked in following a disastrous arrival at a local Airbnb. Booked online and our rooms were ready within 30 minutes. Hotel restaurant and staff went beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. They gave us late checkout and stored our luggage so we could spend an extra day in the city. The hotel is a family owned business with traditional good old fashioned service (founded 1880) and that certainly shows through the excellent staff, amenities and general overall experience we had.
Disliked: The lift was only big enough for one person but considering it was built in 1912, this can be forgiven! But…. it was very swift and lots of fun!

Liked: Rouen was the end of a car trip through Normandy before getting back to the train to get home. We had a relaxing afternoon, strolling a bit through the historical side and relaxing in the hotel prior of heading off the next morning. For us, expecially the location right across the train station wa a major plus, also the good Restaúrant, because we were tired and did not want to get outside for dinner. Breakfast was very delicious and with many flavours. We received a warm welcoming from the staff with valuable information about Rouen. My daugther fancied the whirlpool with light animation.

Great place to stay

Liked: Loved and fully enjoyed our stay in Hotel de Dieppe (Best Western, Rouen). Stayed twice and would return next time again. Personnel is very friendly! On both visits we were welcomed and assisted by Manuela who went out of her way to help with a couple of our extra requests.Hotel is a historic building with a few amazing features. Also very conveniently located right in front of the train station and the taxi stand. Would absolutely recommend it!

Exceptional

Best Western = Best service

Liked: This hotel was excellent. Right from the start, lady on reception (constance) was friendly and did her best to have my room ready early. On my return the room was ready and was really nice, lovely art deco feel. The bed was massive. AC was working well. Room had everything I needed. Best thing was the service at breakfast. I am a vegan and the lady went out of the way to find me oat milk and porridge oats. I would definitely stay here again. Very highly recommend.
