Comfortable clean and welcoming

Liked: Super clean room. And a great location right on Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Very close to restaurants and the water. Loved the huge walk in shower. Water pressure was good too, and the bathroom was immaculate. The front desk lady was efficient and up front about the $10 per night parking fee (which I already knew about, it's very clear on their website) but I appreciated her being up front. Breakfast was good: the usual suspects, cereal and toast, waffles, scrambled eggs, and muffins and a mini juice bar. All fresh and again, everything was clean and organized. The beds were absolutely lovely. Very comfy. The hotel was very quiet: maybe because of the rain or perhaps because it's a good solid building, but in any case, we were grateful and got a great sleep. Parking: good: they share the lot with Hampton Inn next door so there's enough for everyone. The only thing I would be aware of is that there are two flights of stairs to get to the second floor. We didn't see a lift. So if you have a ton of baggage or have dodgy knees, take the ground floor option for sure. It's not in the "main" part of St Augustine, just FYI. It's about a four minute drive from the touristy downtown part. I was totally ok with that because the prices (and the parking fees) were much higher on that side. Can't fault it. It was great for a one night stay. Quiet, clean, good parking, nice breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing to fault.
