I booked my room 3 weeks in advance; they never told me I would be paying a deposit. I checked in and it was never explained there would be a deposit. The day I checked out, again, no one explained a deposit was held nor when it would be released. I called my bank, then the hotel as they instructed me to do to speed up getting my deposit back. The manager on duty Grace, said she's not sure why they said that because that isn't correct.
Liked: The orange juice.
Disliked: Management.

We stayed to see a show at the Concord Pavilion. It was very accommodating.
Liked: Large room and a wonderful breakfast.
Disliked: Soda machine rejected paper money or was empty. I would like a shuttle to the Concord Pavilion, if feasible.

Disliked: Very disappointed to find a cockroach in our room when we returned from the concert we attended. We were very tired knowing we had to leave early the next morning. We did not go to the front desk to complain at the time, we did not thing that anything could be done so late at night. Spending over a $100/night, I would not expect that kind of care.

Over all we had a great experience with Best Western.
Liked: We arrived an hour early prior to check in and we were ableto check in. Once in our room we got a call to see if we needed anything. They had just washed the carpets (a bit wet) and got new furniture. So we knew our room was clean.
Disliked: Everything was good except the eggs for breakfast. They looked like they were plastic - I didn't even try them.

Pets, are not allowed. Pool...
Liked: Big bed. Nice tub with jets. Lots of space to stretch out. Good breakfast, and food was nearby.
Disliked: I didn't like the 'no pets' policy. Wished that I could bring my little dog, but, unlike what it says here in booking dot com, you cannot bring pets.Pool is not heated. So bring your wetsuit.

Very good
Liked: The staff is super friendly. John/Nico was very hospitable and accommodating to during our stay here, my family and I really appreciate it. I love the fact that its accessible to many stores, gas stations, and restaurants/fast food establishments. Breakfast was okay.
Disliked: The shower was my only issue, it was very tricky to figure out. It was either scorching hot or freezing cold. Even when I'd found my sweet spot the water would suddenly go freezing cold on me. Besides that everything was a plus.

Don't know if I will...
Liked: There was3roaches alive in our room. I slept very shitty because I was freaked out with bugs were going to show up in bed. It was dusty and our allergies kicked up. In the morning, we walked outside & dead roaches were all around us on the cement floor.
Disliked: No roaches & dust

Room 230
Liked: The young man who did the check in was very nice and friendly.Breakfast was good and warm. But orange juice has a very bad taste. The building is an excellent location. Hamburger place in the nearby building. Cross street IHOP, some meat restaurant, 7-Eleven, gas station, and Safeway a few blocks away when you leave on your left.
Disliked: Room 230 has ants in the bathroom that we found out when we came back from the concert. We requested them to change the room but it was not possible. The staff person only could help cleaning with Clorox wipes, and after they said there's no possibility to change rooms I asked him to leave the wipes. Every time you needed the bathroom ants were in the toilet or around. My son needed to go at 2 am and we needed to clean up first. The front door in 230 needs to be adjusted I guess. Walls are very thin, you can listen to your neighbor completely. Air conditioning or something like that keeps blowing all night long. Windows outside are very dusty.
