Liked: Breakfast was good, great waffles. coffee was Meh. The pool area was very refreshing on a hot Texas day. no one else was at the pool and it was pad locked "to keep the locals out" I was told. I had to unlock it and bring the key back to the desk. (like the restroom at a convenience store) LOL
Disliked: My room (while clean) smelled like wet dog. I told the front desk person that i could deal with it because i arrived at midnight and just wanted to sleep. I was hopeful the maid service the next day would rectify the smell. NOT. I took a Glade plug in from the hallway and put it in my room for the duration of my stay. Still smelled like a wet dog but with spring flowers now.

Liked: The king rooms were clean and spacious and beds were comfortable with good pillows for people with neck problems. Area was quiet in the morning and far enough for I-14 that the highway noise couldn't be heard. Breakfast was plentiful with a large selection.
Disliked: I reserved this location primarily for the use of the charging station for my EV. Upon arrival I noticed that both stations were inoperable and was directed to a local Tesla charging station for an additional fee. When I looked online the units appeared operational so I booked this location, otherwise I would have searched elsewhere.

Disliked: Everything felt damp in our room. The mattress had some stains but the sheets were clean.
