Best Western Green Valley Inn

I couldn't cancell soon enough.

Liked: There was no AC on a very hot day and the hotel in general was substandard in every aspect. The location was worrying with homeless people on the streets next to the hotel. I cancelled and went to the Hampton Inn hotel instead. I really shold not be charged for that night.
Disliked: see above

Bad

Liked: Nothing was very likable about it.
Disliked: The room was dirty and smelled old like mold. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The inner hallways were hot and stuffy because they don't turn on the air. The restaurant was horrible and the food was bland.

Disliked: Found a hair comb in the bed. No cold water

Disliked: Beds uncomfortable.Msny stays, but beds got too uncomfortable. Ice

What you would expect for...

Liked: Room was fine, fridge, microwave, bath etc. Comfortable. Clean.
Disliked: It was a sit down breakfast - we prefer to head out early. To be fair, they did say that if I gave the waiting staff notice they would be able to prepare something for us to take away but it felt a bit of a faff.

Liked: Quiet Location and accessibility to Madera Canyon
Disliked: The control tap for bath/shower came off easily and the circular water temperature guide behind it was loose and rotated so could not give a meaningful reading - potentially hazardous.I could not connect my macair to the hotel wifi - this was more than a nuisance because we used it for planning the following days. The receptionists tried to apply a solution which did not work (although it partially worked on my iPhone). The root cause was an unsecured network. We have never experienced this problem before.At departure, my wife asked what happens to our credit card details. The receptionist seemed not to know and was quite unnecessarily rude. We still do not know but the implication was that the motel keeps them forever!A dramatic difference between this Best Western and the one in Tucson which preceded it, both in terms of service and value for money.

Water works..

Liked: comfortable clean room. Good bar and restaurant. Great location with stores and restaurants nearby. Large tv. Nice grounds.
Disliked: our toilet did not flush well. I reported it but it was not corrected so they changed our room before we went to bed. it was just annoying.
