Disappointed!

Liked: Good location - very close to the train station.
Disliked: The top loft room was given to us which was quite tiny. I was very surprised to find AC facility is not included, and only two table fans were provided. I was so surprised the room did not have an AC facility in such a hot sweaty weather . The bedding had lots of hair, suggesting poor cleaning.

Liked: Convenient location and reasonable price
Disliked: It was a very hot day but the Corridors outside the rooms were lovely and cool , the room itself was boiling hot and very uncomfortable - they need aircon fitting

Small room but nice

Liked: Staff were friendly and quick check in service. Room was as described
Disliked: The air con stated is just 2 fans so in heatwave heat like we had when we stayed, did not help so did not sleep the night.A double bed is more like a 3/4 double bed, not a full double

Fix your deposit policy

Liked: The staff are extra friendly, and the cost is good for the value, and it's on the high street, so getting something to eat and getting transport in the morning was super easy.
Disliked: I've stayed here a couple of times, and I would not recommend their single room/s. Be ready to have your deposit held for 4 weeks or more. I get hotels regularly, some take deposits, some don't, but the others that do return your money in a couple of days max.

Liked: Everything. Spotlessly clean, friendly, comfortable, close to transport links and very reasonably priced.

Bad Service

Liked: The cleaning service was good and the bathroom was very clean
Disliked: Entertainment service was poor - TV reception was quite bad.Rooms were very hot - little ventilation.The hotel claimed I damaged a kettle which is untrue. The kettle I was initially given didn't work. I complained and was swapped. The swap kettle worked, I made tea and checked out the next day The swap kettle was unclean, had smudges on it and I had to wipe the kettle clean before useThe cups were smeared with dirt and had to clean before use.The hotel is now making a claim against my deposit just because I pointed out that the kettle I was provided didn't work?
