GREAT room - older hotel...
Liked: The large walk-in shower with 12 wall shower heads, two waterfall shower heads, and a large overhead rain shower head is GREAT! Great water pressure & lots of hot water. Same with the spa whirlpool tub. It fills fast, has good jets & is plenty big enough for two. Great addition also, having our own sauna in the room. Everything was clean and orderly. Also nice, is having your own little back patio complete with chairs & a small table that overlooks a wooded area. Good breakfast with a very tasty potatoes & sausage dish, waffles, good selection of pastries, cereals, yogurt, coffees, juices & all the things you would expect.
Disliked: Needs a clock radio. I think they're currently having an issue with the pool smelling musty, (humidifiers running in the hallway) and our room was near the pool so it kinda smelled that way too, but we opened up our door to the patio for a while & it aired out. This is an older hotel. It needs updates, especially in the downstairs hallway. My advice is to not pay too much attention to the rest of the hotel, because it's a whole different world when you enter the Fantasy Suites rooms and they are GREAT!

Good
Liked: Large room, clean, wonderful mattress. 24 hour hot water/ coffee/ tea was a nice perk. The dark roast coffee was excellent.
Disliked: The room heater had not been turned in prior to our arrival. The temperature in the room was at 57 degrees F and it took 5 hours to warm up to the low 70s. We spent most of the time in the breakfast area, staying warm. A winter storm came in the next night, dumping significant snow. The next morning, some breakfast staples (waffle mix) were low and the pastries were stale. The storm had been forecasted for days. The hotel had plenty of warning and could have stocked up.
