Comfortable accommodation and reliable catering...
Liked: Executive room is comfortable and catering is very good.
Disliked: Multiple minor issues, eg room safe not working and moths kept me awake at night. I am happy to pay to use the spa but was not informed that the sauna and steam room were both closed due to maintenance / insurance issues. This was not a new situation but guests were not informed when booking the spa.

It was an ok place...
Liked: The entrance has finally been refurbished and its much better. Nice new carpets throughout the communal areasThe staff are all really nice and friendly. We couldn't get in to our room when we arrived, so they gave us complimentary drinks while we waited. The room had a small fridge. That was and added bonus. The outside space is beautiful and there is LOADs of parking. The room was really big and spaciousThe view from the room was lovely. The bed was really comfy. Bedding was clean and crisp. Although very dated, the bathroom was large and clean and the shower was great. The towels were good quality too.Overall, if you need a place to stay, its ok as the rooms are fine, its just very tired looking.
Disliked: Although the room was nice and spacious, it is very tired and dated. It needs some TLC. Same with the bathroom. The doors along the corridors and into the bar area need replacing too. They are trying to retain an art deco element, but it would be better if they just modernised it all It could be amazing. There is no air conditioning. However they did provide a fan but the lead was only just over a foot long so we were restricted on where we could plug it in. The dining / bar area has also been refurbished but the floor was very sticky. The cooked breakfast wasn't very nice. The only eggs were fried and they were swimming in oil. I stuck to toast and pastries on the second day.
