Located just a 10-minute drive from the Eden Project this modern hotel in Lostwithiel offers free Wi-Fi an outdoor heated pool free parking and an on-site restaurant. All of the bright airy rooms at Best Western Fowey Valley offer an private bathroom a 32-inch flat-screen TV free Wi-Fi hairdryers and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms also offer king-size beds luxury duvets an iPod docking station bathrobes and slippers. Our on-site Restaurant offers everything from Cornish Steak to Cornish Crab. With our chefs creating signature homemade dishes to delight your palette which have gained them excellent feedback over the years. Coupled with friendly professional service our seasonal menus are one of the main reasons many people return to stay with us year after year. The wine cellar gives you a varied choice of reasonably priced wines from around the globe and our lounge bar is the ideal place to enjoy a pre-dinner refreshment or simply to enjoy time catching up with friends and family. Cream Teas are available all day with our Evening Menu served Monday to Friday from 6pm; available in our Restaurant Bar Lounge Garden and sat out by the Pool room service is also available. Full Cornish Breakfast is also served daily from 7-9:30am. For guests making reservations of 4 rooms or more or for stays of 8 nights or more will be required to pay the value of the first night's stay a nonrefundable deposit. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only 12 miles away and the stunning National Trust Lanhydrock House is just 3 miles away. The area has many little fishing villages. Other local beaches and beauty spots include Carlyon Bay Par and Polkerris.

Do not be misled by...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The hotel does not serve alcohol and no evening meals are available in spite of the attached photo advertising this. The cooked breakfast did not include any pork products and was therefore poor. The rooms were not made up during our stay.

Liked: Location close to Eden Project.
Disliked: After mignight, noisy costumers, drinking alcohol and having antisocial behavior at the swimming pool.

Considering the charges for everything...

Liked: The bed was comfy
Disliked: Charged us the full £25 early check in fee when we arrived only 30 mins earlier as we needed urgent shower, said the room wasn’t ready, yet was back after 3 minutes after we paid to say it now was.. this was very poor!!There was also a full charge in place to use the electric car charger even for a 10% top up!Charges for everything! In the room there was a poor smell from the bathroom, and mould on the blinds, not as clean as it should be..

Fabulous clean rooms, and great...

Liked: The property was very clean, up to date decor and very well laid out for being in a small village.
Disliked: The only issue is the road that leads to the parking, I’m a very confident driver however that road scared me especially at night. It’s so narrow, I don’t think it’s a one way but only 1 car can fit.

The location provided us with...

Liked: Good location for access to Eden Sessions. Staff on arrival very pleasant. Good car parking. Taxi was able to drop us very close to our room late at night The room was spotlessly cleanWas good to be able to have one room for three adults travelling
Disliked: Sadly our room on the ground floor had a broken window latch (latch snapped off from window)meaning the room wasn’t secure from external access. I reported to reception who didn’t appear to know about it. However the latch looked to have been brown a while. We ended up locking our valuables in the car

Very run down , staff...

Liked: Bar area was nice and the one staff was doing everything on her own and looked after us
Disliked: Beds were uncomfortable pool area very damaged need big update .
