Best Western Fairfax

Advertised as a concert hotel, but no shuttle to concert. Poor taxi service in town - froze waiting for a taxi, and stole someone else's cab. Missed two opening bands but got there in time to see Neil Young, barely. Good price, close to I-66, Great breakfast.

Liked: Price; breakfast buffet.
Disliked: No shuttle, poor taxi service.

Great location, clean rooms, uncomfortable...

Liked: The property was very clean, the breakfast was hot, and the location was excellent.
Disliked: The beds were very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on cinderblocks.

Okay for three nighs.

Liked: Fairly good hot breakfast options, but a better variety of pastries would have been nice. Poor quality and weak coffee.
Disliked: Got off to a bad start when, half a minute after first entering my room, I spotted a cockroach crawling on the far wall opposite the window. Fortunately, the experience was not repeated. Very few rooms with walk-in showers; I had to put up with a tub/shower combo. No good restaurant options within reasonable walking distance.

Liked: The rooms are clean, receptionists are friendly. Breakfast is good.pleasant and quite area.
Disliked: Sink is outside the bathroom. Cafee not strong and no choice .
