Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel

Poor

Liked: it was good. at the resturant beside the hotel
Disliked: it stated that they had hot tub. they have converted to a kiddie pool. not ONCE during stay 4 nights did housekeeping take care of the room. we had to catch them in hall and get trash emptied and get new towels every day and i am talking after 4 pm. when sister and nephew checked in they were told that our room was only HELD with credit card and not paid for. so he paid for her room and got anther one for him. so basically her room was paid for double. went to front desk before and night clerk unable to acccess that information and told to come back when day shift there. we came back and they were both there and day person was rude and just told me i would have to talk to manager. the night one said he went to her and she would look into it. i told them to let me know if had any problems fixing this. well saturday they though nephew had checked out and not yet so still trying to fix the issue but my sister paid for that day for him (we did not realize he had not paid for that day.) he had had surgery friday and was having issues but maid came in and then front desk called and he had been trying to sleep. the facilites were ok and room alright but basic housekeeping should be done in each room each day without having to call desk or find a maid. saw the maids several times 3 or 4 standing around a cart visiting.so not the best hotel i have been in and i have never had a problem with best western.

Won’t be back

Liked: At check in the woman that waited on me acted like she didn’t want to be there. No greeting, very short in her response. The room didn’t have sheets for the sofa bed. The both TV would not work and there were no tissue in the bathroom.

Pleasant

Liked: We liked the size of the room with multiple bedrooms and bunk beds.
Disliked: The room was missing tv remote phones didn't work. The breakfast is misleading they say it's on site but you need to go to attached restaurant and the first day it took over an hour to get breakfast.

Liked: Comfy beds! We where not told on the site that their was no elevator!! My daughter is in a wheelchair. The front desk helped us out and was very kind!
