Liked: Family room was fantastic; two levels which the kids loved. It was clean and very comfortable. Umberto, who worked at the front desk, was extremely helpful. He recommended great restaurants and things to see and answered the many questions that my family and I had.
Disliked: Location is very good to see sites; however, it is a little too close to the train station. I knew this prior to booking of course.

Disliked: No hot water in the evening, had to take a cold shower. Breakfast was basic.

Comfortable stay near to train...

Liked: Near to central station in turin and walking distance to tourist attractions.
Disliked: Dodgy area where there are lot of groups hang out on the streets. They may be nice people but for tourists and first timers it might look a bit scary.

Convenient and mostly comfortable.

Liked: Good location, well presented, friendly helpful staff. Fairly quiet when I visited.Good transport nearby, good choice of bars and restaurants.
Disliked: I stayed in mid June and the air con in my room (325) wasn't up to the task of keeping cool. I'm not convinced it was doing much, and I only just managed to get to sleep. Breakfast was a bit basic but that's perhaps what Italians and other Europeans expect. I'm from the UK and found the hot food choice rather limited. There seemed to be only white bread, pastries and muffins etc - no brown bread with better GI. I'm not diabetic but with fast carbohydrates, you process them quickly and soon feel hungry again. It's not healthy.The furniture in the adjacent rooms makes an awful noise when the cleaners move them around and scrape them across the floor. As this starts early in the morning, I wouldn't want to be staying there on holiday, hoping for a quiet lie-in. Felt pads / feet on the furniture legs would help a lot!The wifi was a clunky PITA, requiring logging in every time and was tied to your room number. Is wifi so precious these days that they have to guard access like this?

Exceptional

Good value for the centre...

Liked: A good location and an excellent spacious room. All the staff were very friendly and the room was spotlessly clean.
Disliked: The area near the station (a plus point) attracts some undesirable people in the area at night.

Pleasant

Disliked: We requested a restaurant recommendation. The receptionist provided two local restaurants, we asked if a reservation could be made. We were advised this was not necessary on a Wednesday. Arrived at the first choice restaurant and were turned away fully booked, went back to hotel the receptionist telephoned the second recommended restaurant but again fully booked! The hotel eventually found a third restaurant and booked a table.
