Best Western Crown Inn & Suites

Liked: This hotel came up as a one star hotel when I booked it but it was way nicer than that. The staff was great; the room was clean; beds were comfortable; the breakfast in the morning was very good. I would stay there again if I am ever in Batavia, NY.

Disliked: The staff were not good to work with. I was up charged because I left a week early. I would have came back, I need a place to stay for 3 month for work. His up charge changed my mind. An extra 500 was add spread through a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It's 500 above what I was quoted and what booking.com recipt me for

Liked: I like how close it was to Daren Lake Amusement Park
Disliked: Staff all seemed miserable. Select areas in the hotel room seem dirty in the hotel room. Under the mattress there was some filth that hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. There was dust on light switches and other fixtures. The person I was staying with found what appeared to be a bed bug in their bed after our stay. I let staff know of this checking out and the manager called me a liar. He kept saying “not my blanket, not my blanket”. The picture was taken in the hotel, it was their blanket. Instead of them saying okay we will handle the situation or apologize, they went straight to denial.

Disliked: No on-site store for convenience items, vending machine broken, unable to get cold bottle of water, breakfast items were very sparing. Air conditioner was off on arrival. Room took forever to get to a comfortable temp.

Liked: Being able to access our room from another door aside from the main entrance was good. Check in was easy.
Disliked: A/C unit sounded like it needed serious attention. I seriously was not able to sleep one minute due to that as well as multiple people opening closing doors as well as feeling and hearing people walking around all hours of the night. Would not stay again.
