We stayed March 21-22. I was kind of unsure about the hotel because there was a lot of construction around the area and read reviews about it being too noisy. Well, our stay was perfect. The room was awesome. We had a great view of the bay from our room - we were on the 4th floor. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Staff was friendly. The pool was awesome. It was an excellent choice. We will definitely be staying again.

Don't miss out on the great breakfast!!! Loved the views from the room and the staff was very pleasant. When you get into your room, be sure to turn the refrigerator on!!!! They are turned off when someone is not in the room. Loved this place.

Disliked: I want to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. While the service provided by your staff was commendable, there were other aspects that significantly detracted from our overall experience.The most concerning issue was the pervasive garlic smell from the pizza restaurant located on the first floor. The odor was so potent that it permeated our room on the third floor, resulting in a highly uncomfortable and nauseating environment. We found ourselves purposely staying out of our room to avoid the smell and were eager to check out as soon as possible.This issue was not just an inconvenience but significantly impacted our health and comfort during our stay. I believe it's crucial for a hotel to ensure a pleasant and neutral environment for all guests, which was not the case in this instance.Additionally, the cleanliness of the parking area left much to be desired. The floor was extremely dirty, particularly in the loading and unloading zones. This is not something one expects to encounter at a hotel of your reputation. Regular cleaning and maintenance of these areas are essential to maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment.Regrettably, due to these negative experiences, we are hesitant to consider staying at this particular location in the future. We hope that our feedback will be taken seriously and prompt actions will be taken to rectify these issues.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Parking fee of $40 for...

Disliked: For the Best Western to be truthful about total cost of stay. I made the reservations for my sister in law and my wife. I was initially told that total cost would be $332 for both nights. My wife and her sister were to split the cost. My wife is legally blind. She did not notice the total cost of their stay. To my surprise, I noticed in my bank account that a charge of $190 just for my wife was deducted from my bank account. In viewing the receipt, I noticed that a charge of $20 was made for parking!!! For each night!!! A total of $40 for both nights. Really? So, Yes. I am totally disappointed that this was not related to me when i made the reservations, nor to my wife and sister in law when they checked in.

Liked: Wanted to be downtown, close to restaurants and the shoreline. The hotel is a little dated, but kept up and can't beat the location.
Disliked: Business center computer did not work when I needed a secure wifi.

Liked: Elevators took like 5 minutes one was out of service.. lamps didn't work...phone connectors didn't work..needs some remodeling

Disliked: Check in was slow, front desk unmanned, mattresses were too hard, hot was broken and knob would come off and forced to take cold shower, ac unit could not be controlled.
