Liked: Breakfast was great. Clean lobby. Appeared to have been recently renovated, as you could see some difference between the new areas.
Disliked: Various issues with the room: main light didn’t work. Very very low water pressure, even on the highest settings. Missing lamp shade. Pieces of tape on bathroom fixtures that had been recently replaced.Because of my short stay (arrived around midnight and left at 7am), I did not immediately notify the staff of these issues so they did not have an immediate opportunity to correct them.

Terrible staff and smelly room

Liked: The king beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: I called and spoke to Raji on 4/17 at 2:46pm prior to my arrival date of 4/18. I wanted to confirm the 2 rooms I reserved would be adjoined due to my rooms being shared with family. She reassured me this would be taken care of by her personally. Raji coincidentally was there at my arrival. During my check-in she then told me my two (previously confirmed) rooms are on different floors. This issue was never brought to my attention during my call the day before. Furthermore, it's fairly obvious guests are not aware of the hotel's room floor-plan. I then said I would settle for a downgrade in rooms as long as they were adjoined. She would not accommodate that request but assured me my rooms were "across" from each other, which was an outright lie. I was given rooms 218 and 222 which were neither adjoined nor across from each other. Furthermore room 222 had a very bad mildew smell. 218 didn't smell great but was acceptable. Dehumidifiers were in both rooms and room 222 had a significantly smaller one. Room 222 had a damp floor during the entire stay. I brought this mildew smell to the attention of Raji soon after check-in and she gave me no alternatives or options to solve my issues of both room placement and room condition. Raji was overall incompetent and unhelpful at accommodating my stay both over the phone and in person. I notified her I would be including her name during my review to give her one last chance to resolve this catastrophe but she just stared at me indifferent.An absolutely horrible experience at The Best Western Corpus Christi Airport Hotelis located at 2021 North Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78408.
