Best Western Clifton Park

Had a lovely and comfortable overnight stay. Even got to swim. A great low budget place to sleep for a night!

Adequate for weekend, but way...

Liked: The breakfast was pretty good, although the choice of cereals was limited, and there was no sliced fruit available, only apples and bananas. The breakfast room was very clean and kept well supplied with food during breakfast.
Disliked: The tub/shower was really awful. It was a fiberglass spa tub, but the bottom was not well supported and it sagged away from the drain so that the water did not drain when taking a shower - i.e., you were standing in a pool of shower water. I had to swipe the water with my feet to move it to the drain. Otherwise it would just be a puddle that evaporated into the room after I got out. The toilet was a residential toilet, rather than commercial, so it often had to be flushed twice to empty. The AC was older, noisy, and did not have a modern digital thermostat where you could set the actual room temperature like most modern hotels. It was the old kind where you just have a rotating dial and you have to estimate by trial and error. Overall, the hotel just felt very outdated.

Liked: Honestly, the only perk was that we had a pool and a Jacuzzi tub in the room
Disliked: Just about everything we didn’t have cable they didn’t even offer to compensate for that. We also had to move rooms as soon as we got there due to a toilet, not working we feel like they knew the room was unusable due to the water in the bathroom being shut off. We also just expected to grab a bagel quick before we left, but they were hard as a rock.
