Overlooking the English Channel the Best Western Clifton Hotel offers bedrooms with attached bathroom many with sea views. It is 10 minutes from Folkestone town center railway station and Channel Tunnel. Built in 1864 the Clifton Hotel retains an elegant Victorian exterior. Inside modern facilities and period features blend and the hotel offers Marco Pierre White's Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant bar and lounge as well as free WiFi. Drinks area available on the terrace. Rooms at this Best Western have traditional decor and bathrooms with a shower. All rooms have satellite TV a radio and a work desk. Disliked: Parking is a pain. Yes hotel can give a permit for £8 but they cannot ensure there is a space.Lift is tiny and not easy to operate

Excellant hotelandlocation

Liked: Comfortable and clean room, comfortable and supportive chair with reading light, good sized kettle, biscuits, very well designed shower, slip mat provided. Good mattress and pillow. All things often missing from other hotels. Also very good breakfast and supper (supper not included in price). Excellant location
Disliked: Well, there was air conditioning so I could not open window but this did not cause a problem as such
