Ideal for early euro tunnel...

Liked: Location and room really nice, good size room very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: No parking at the hotel. Only available on road (if spaces) or in a carpark nearby.It was very windy and the window rattled until we wedged a piece of cardboard into the window to stop the rattling.Left before breakfast was served and received a packed lunch replacement. I think this could have been a bit more imaginative rather than just a sandwich, apple and drink, however better than nothing.Staff on phone prior to booking were very pleasant and helpful. Staff during stay less so.

Clifton hotel is warm, wonderful...

Liked: It's a wonderful place. We come to visit family and those sea views are exceptional. I also have to say, best beds I've ever slept in in a hotel. The hotel is undergoing a refurb but we are so well looked after and the value for money is exceptional. I hope after the work is done the hotel retains its traditional charm. Staff and consequently other customers are so friendly. A great atmosphere so thank you.
Disliked: I am scared of lifts but that is just me. I am also into health and fitness so taking the stairs doesn't hurt. Otherwise nothing wrong. All good. thank you again

Disliked: The hotel is undergoing refurbishment.We were on the third floor and the proximity of the lift to our room was a maze. We were given another room closer to the lift which was lovely.Reception was very helpful.

Liked: Didnt eat in the hotel room was great newly modernise door was a bit wonky but worked fine a big gap undwr the door thàt let in noose and light never a fire door
