Disliked: We arrived early (2:30pm) asking if we could check in yet, we didn't mind if not, but the staff wasn't very friendly to invite us stay in the lobby until 3pm, just ask us to come back after 3pm, I was expecting more hospitality from a hotel.The stairs and lift to the rooms are narrow, not the best if you have big suitcases.The drain in the shower room is in the wrong place, so the water won't go down sooner, flooded. Also they requested a pre-charged £50 deposit, which really put me off. I have to check if they remember to refund after I checked out. I don't trust them with my card details either. don't think I will come again

Liked: We stayed for one night, it was perfect for that. It’s away from the “main” area of Folkestone and the sandy beach, you could walk but it would take a good 20 mins or so (we had a child with us so wasn’t possible to walk). It’s right next to mermaid beach.
Disliked: Parking is limited, there is parking opposite the hotel but not guaranteed. If you do get a space parking from 6pm-8am is free, otherwise you need to pay, or find somewhere else to park.
