Excellent stay by the sea...

Liked: Everything went smoothly.
Disliked: Breakfast was not included in the price, though it was booked with breakfast included (booking.com problem, I assume - not hotel’s doing)

Liked: Staff were very friendly and offered a discount to make up for the issue we had.
Disliked: The room smelt terrible. The smell clearly came from the bathroom. Slept with the window open which was OK. We were too tired and it was too late to go downstairs and complain, I'm sure they would have given us a different room however.

Liked: Refurbished rooms, fridge now in room. Food available all day in the bar/lounge. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Lovely public areas with nice seating.
Disliked: Bathroom was cold, towel rail not adequate. Water pressure low on 4th floor. Blind would not stay up properly on window in bedroom. Usual parking problems, expensive in underground one although always spaces.
