Overlooking the English Channel the Best Western Clifton Hotel offers bedrooms with attached bathroom many with sea views. It is 10 minutes from Folkestone town center railway station and Channel Tunnel. Built in 1864 the Clifton Hotel retains an elegant Victorian exterior. Inside modern facilities and period features blend and the hotel offers Marco Pierre White's Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant bar and lounge as well as free WiFi. Drinks area available on the terrace. Rooms at this Best Western have traditional decor and bathrooms with a shower. All rooms have satellite TV a radio and a work desk. A good place to stay,...

Liked: Very clean and comfortable - staff are lovely
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t included and we felt that it should be. We ate in the restaurant which unfortunately wasn’t as good as it had been previously. The staff however were helpful and courteous as always.

Liked: The staff here are amazing nothing is to much trouble very clean and the restaurant food is amazing I had the tomahawk steak it's to die for and the misses had the fillet steak

rooms without m2 reference

Liked: location, friendly stuff, cozy hotel
Disliked: no reference of room size in m2, room we got didn't match the pictures on Booking, queen bed felt too small for the two
