The Spotlight on Best Western Chiswick Palace & Suites London

Charming Comfort in West London, Close to the Action

Modern convenience meets classic charm at the Best Western Chiswick Palace & Suites London. Set inside an elegant period property on Chiswick High Road, this hotel blends traditional London architecture with updated interiors. Located just a 5-minute walk from Turnham Green Underground Station, you're well connected to the heart of the city while enjoying a quieter, village-like vibe in Chiswick.
Rooms are clean, colorful, and come with free Wi-Fi, private modern bathrooms, and all the essentials like tea/coffee and hairdryers. It's a smart base for concert-goers wanting comfort without the chaos of central London.

Why Concert-goers love it

Thanks to its proximity to the Tube, you're just a 20-minute ride to central London—perfect for getting to major venues without staying in the middle of the late-night buzz. After the show, return to a peaceful neighborhood that’s far calmer than the city centre. The 14:00 check-in and 11:00 check-out are great for those catching late gigs or early flights. Plus, being close to the A4 and M4 makes it super convenient for those driving in.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for affordable rooms with good transport links
  • Solo travelers ticking off their concert bucket-list
  • Couples making a weekend of it with easy access to the city
  • Fans who prefer a quieter space to unwind after the show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers seeking clean, modern comfort

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant for dinner, the hotel offers a daily breakfast—ideal after a late night out. Chiswick High Road is lined with independent cafes, pubs, and global eateries just steps away, so you won’t go hungry. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the area is known for its late-night takeaways and convenience stores.

Nightlife Options

Though the hotel itself is more about quiet comfort than loud music, it’s just a few Tube stops from lively areas like Hammersmith and Shepherd’s Bush, where you’ll find bars, clubs, and live music venues. For those wanting to stay local, Chiswick’s pubs and wine bars offer a more relaxed vibe with craft beers and cocktails.

What People Say

  • Guests love the charming building and how clean and modern the rooms are despite its period exterior
  • Highly rated for its location with easy access to transport and local restaurants
  • Staff are often praised as friendly and helpful
  • Many reviewers noted the hotel offers great value for money in West London

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can be a bit compact, especially if you're sharing with mates and carrying gear. Some guests noted thin walls, so light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. There's also no lift in parts of the hotel, which could be tricky with heavy bags.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a gig in West or Central London and want a quiet, stylish, and affordable base to recharge—Best Western Chiswick Palace & Suites London checks all the right boxes.

Overall pleasant stay but hotel...

Liked: Staff are lovely, location good. The hotel overall is smart and our stay was very pleasant,
Disliked: We did not feel safe as we were on ground floor with windows opening straight onto the front area accessible to everyone so had to be kept closed. Air conditioning was not working well and bathroom sink was stained /dirty.

Great location with clean rooms

Liked: Rooms range from really tiny to very spacious. We were first in a really really tiny one and then moved to a larger one. The rooms are very clean, modern and well lit and pleasant. The location is simply very beautiful. Tree lined streets with plenty of food choices and very well connected to 2 tube stations and bus stops. Breakfast spread was decent. Anila at the reception was very very helpful and gave us a lot of tips on things to do.
Disliked: Issues with the washing machine not working. The kitchenette is very basic and if you plan to cook we felt it was not suitable. But its fine if you want to just microwave food and keep it simple.

Good respite after a full...

Liked: Clean, comfortable
Disliked: The air-conditioning was fiddly to set up, there was no hair drier, and the seal of door of the box door was damaged, so water leaked out of the box when showering.
