Best Western Chilworth Manor Hotel

Idilic place so near central...

Liked: Location and room we're Excellent. Range of drinks we're good and garden was beautiful.
Disliked: Resteraunt menu needs more vegetarian options. Breakfast was a bit hectic car park can get full very quickly.

Disappointing

Liked: The pool was nice, but we were only allowed to use for 1.5 hours as restricted use for children, which we weren't aware of until arrival. The barman was very good

Liked: The room was reasonable breakfast was poor and was not included in price paid {paid for an upgrade) room very warm
Disliked: No lift to the upgraded room and poor breakfast

Liked: TV remote was broken and didn’t work at all. Shower had mildew and there was rubbish sticking out from under the bed…

Liked: Beautiful grounds, albeit not well maintained. Clean bathroom, comforatable bed. Breakfast was good apart from coffee - self serve from a machine. All the coffees taste the same so best bet is go for an americano without milk.
Disliked: No air conditionining, no water in room, no lift, no fan or window in bathroom. Our room overlooked the bin area, bins were in use from 0645 on a Sunday morning, so noisy.Bar very expensive - a pint of lager, 3 small bottles of still water over £18. It seems to me this venue is really for conferences, as the downstairs rooms were well set up. As a hotel to stay at, a tired three star.

Disliked: No air con unseeable heat broke. Shower water stained walls no customer services

Liked: Second time staying here before our cruise, we love it, such a great place to start your holiday
Disliked: The mirror didn't light up in the bathroom. Also be aware that the heating must be switched off over winter, had an suite it was huge and very chilly in June!
