Welcoming and comfortable

Liked: Beautiful grounds
Disliked: Bedroom was a little tired

Great stay but some areas...

Liked: Lovely building, comfortable spacious room, bar area a real treat.
Disliked: Lack of ventilation/air conditioning in room. Had to have the windows open however opened onto the service yard with noisy deliveries throughout the night. Could make so much more of the amazing gardens however largely overgrown besides the bit you see from the terrace.

Liked: Excellent location especially with a dog. Beautiful manor house nicely positioned. Promote its green recycling policy.
Disliked: Room could do with an upgrade prefer a shower rather than climbing into the bath to have a shower.

A very relaxing and comfortable...

Liked: Beautiful surroundings, beautiful grounds and terrace and gardens. Lovely elegant airy bar area. Very relaxing always, and very clean and comfortable. We stay here regularly. Breakfast also good Bonus having lovely pool and health spa facilities too!
Disliked: Like everything! Parking can be quite a long way from entrance when it’s busy at the hotel

Nice location and good breakfast

Liked: Excellent breakfast , nice swimming pool , large room with comfortable bed. Wonderful location with ample parking.
Disliked: As there was a wedding and another event during our stay the service was poor due to staff being a bit over whelmed. We were kept awake until midnight by the wedding disco in the area directly below our bedroom window . We needed to have the windows open as the room had no aircon. This did no spoil our stay as we are not party poopers and we have done the same in the past.
