Perfect for our overnight stop...

Liked: Just perfect for our needs. Travelling with a car and trailer so needed a large parking space plus on-site facilities to enjoy as it’s not appropriate to search out restaurants etc with a trailer.Very impressed with the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Our evening meal was lovely and afterwards we enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching the antics of the swallows.Very good choice of food for our self-service breakfast which we had paid for in advance in the room rate.Before departing we explored the extensive grounds which have conservation status.We would be happy to stay here for a few days as a touring base for Southampton, Winchester and New Forest.

Disliked: The room was a little quirky, the actual bed are in the room was only 10 inches wider than the bed.

Disliked: Room had wallpaper blown from water damage and never been sorted and mastic round bath was coming off and really old dusty carpets, the whole room needs a renovation.
