Disliked: Elevator was not working room was on 4th floor breakfast had moldy bagels.. was there 3 nights staff didnt have room cleaned just fresh towels. Will not stay here again disappointed with Best Western chain.

Disliked: The place looked run down on the inside. There was 3 elevators but only one worked and looks run down. The bedroom had stains on the carpet. The a/c unit looks like it has never been cleaned. It might have black mold. The staff was nice but every time we saw them they was outside smoking. The parking lot looked run down. I will never stay at a best western again because of this

Liked: This hotel is right off the freeway in Charleston. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do with hardly any commute. The elevators are more than slightly nerve-racking and outdated, but I did get up to my room despite this. Staff are very friendly and talkative. Breakfast was very good, however, I got there at 8:30 and there was hardly any food left. Room cleanliness, unfortunately, was not great. There was hair on the sheets when blankets were pulled back, the toilet looked dirty, and there was weave all over the carpet. As I was leaving in the morning, a maid was teaching a new person how to clean and told the new person not to change the comforters unless they looked dirty.

Disliked: Ice machine didnt work, room had a bad smell and the sink leaked and all my clean towels were soaked. Only one elevator worked and it got stuck. The break fast was horrible. The manager there was very nasty to us and other guests. I have way more to say.

Disliked: EVERYTHING. Was not greeted to the hotel, only told that they were full up and if i didn't have a reservation, they couldn't help me. Rude staff, housekeeping never came during our 4 night stay even when repeatedly asked. No courtesy or communication. Staff smoked in front of the building all day instead of doing their job. Staff would mock customers and talk badly about them to other customers. Horrible place. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the phone jack was ripped from the wall. Bed had crumbs in it, and when we asked the staff for new sheets, they reassured us they would bring some but never did, then got upset with us for reminding them. Upon check out, I was ignored for a bit, then was asked rudely if I was checking out, and she grabbed my room key and said, "ok, you can go now!" She followed me out and started smoking right at the front door and loudly called us disgusting. When I confronted her, she yelled at me that she was on the phone and other obscenities. I have NEVER experienced such blatant disrespect and awful service from HOSPITALITY workers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR ENERGY ON THIS POORLY RUN FACILITY.
